Artemisia Gardens aims to create beautiful and ecologically-informed gardens. Whether we refresh a bed or two in your mature garden, clean up a garden that might need some attention, or fully redesign your outdoor space, we balance your wishes, budget, and the health of the soil, water, and beneficial organisms, working towards building ecological communities in your back and front yards. While we specialize in California native and edible plants, we work with all kinds of plants as long as they are not invasive, and strongly favor plants that bring in pollinators and feed into the web of life. Whether you want a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant garden, or to start composting in your backyard and grow veggies and fruit, we would love to work with you to create the garden you are dreaming of.
